After a month-long strike against cuts, teaching staff at Tower Hamlets College have voted to return to work.


Tower Hamlets College is based in east London, in the borough of Tower Hamlets. We have three campuses within the borough, with the main one being at Poplar, and others at Arbour Square, Stepney and George Green Building on East India Dock Road. We provide education and training to young people aged from 14-18 years and to adult learners. This includes a large offering of 50+ courses at A Levels to vocational in a range of subjects including creative arts, IT, finance, health and social care, science, catering, hair and beauty and trade skills as well as pre-university entry courses such as Access to Higher Education. Tower Hamlets College in London found itself growing in attendees but short on space. They called on Urban Space Management to create a unique new extension that would give students room to grow intellectually while not crowding them physically. The 12 new classrooms were installed very quickly over the course of the college’s summer break.Tower Hamlets College is based in east London, in the borough of Tower Hamlets.
