Matthew Copley (Grade 11) represented the School at the Global Young Leaders Conference in Europe during the July vacation. This provided him with the experience of engaging with potential leaders in many countries, and learning from several inspirational speakers on leadership issues.

The faculty at George Mason University has approved several Envision programs for elective college credit in "Special Topics in Leadership.". These programs are the NYLF Forum on National Security, the National Young Leaders Conference, the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine, the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law and CSI, and the Global Young Leaders Conference. Participating students have the opportunity to earn one or two college credits, depending upon the length of the program, and credits are generally transferable to other 4-year colleges or universities. Students are evaluated for “active participation in simulations, contributions to discussions and demonstration of leadership and critical thinking skills in group and individual settings.”[]

I am glad to introduce myself as Nagarjun Palavalli. I study IB at Indus International School in Bangalore. I am in the 12th grade. I have been nominated to represent my school and country at the Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) held every year in the United States of America. The conference is organized by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC) which brings exceptional high school students from around the world to an interactive 13 day program which is held in Washington DC and New York.

The Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) programme is the premier leadership development programme which takes place from 4 – 18 July 2015 for motivated and accomplished students from across the United States and more than 145 countries around the world.The Global Young Leaders Conference, organized by the Envision EMI will take place from 14th July to the 23rd July 2015 in Beijing, China.
